I know this is insanely boring for you, but like Selma Blair and her lingerie shopping, I do it for me.
Did 'em all last night with the same weights as last time, but this time I made quick work of it (got it all done in 30 min instead of 45) by alternating just two exercises till I'd cranked out the 50, then going to the next two.
Pullups/pushups. Deadlifts/floor wipers. Box jumps/clean & jerks. Cuts down on the transition time, I guess.
I was all wobbly when I was done.
Also, although I could pop out the box jumps in reasonably few sets, when I'd stop, my heart was beating all crazy and I lost my hearing and had to sit down. I guess I should warm up first so I don't have a heart attack?
I then jumped on the treadmill for half an hour. And let me say, it's hard not to feel competitive/self conscious on the treadmill. Everybody was actually watching Rudolf on the big screen TV but I felt like they were checking out my pace. Since it's the off season, I really never want to get my heart rate above aerobic, but I feel peer pressured into doing sprints or jacking up the incline or something, which is totally counter to my purposes.
Stupid peers.
p.s. happy birthday Scooter!
